Earlier this week was my first-time shooting headshots!

So, before I get into these headshots, I wanted to pat myself on the back for personally working on my social skills! Not sure if any of you know but I deal with social awkwardness (social anxiety) and lately I’ve been pushing myself to do something about it!—-I’ll get into deeper one day but for now, let’s get back into these headshots!

Earlier this week, I drove to Dallas to meet a young man who, I might add, is not only ambitious but very driven to make those necessary steps to building his future! So, kudos to him!

I met up with him right after work while the sun was still letting it be known that he’s the hottest out right now! After chatting a little bit, we drove over to his preferred location, and we actually used two areas to complete these shots!

The first area was well lit and I the Godox flash that I brought along with me was not needed for this particular area, so these photos were pretty easy as far as editing and my settings in my camera. I did have an issue at the beginning with my settings, but I handled that pretty quickly! bankhead bounces…

Ok, now let’s talk about the second area!

This particular area was just a little dimmer as far light, so I used my flash for some shots but for the most part, I decided against relying on it. I don’t always use my flash but felt the practice was needed since I have some upcoming things that may require me to actually rely on the extra light that it provides!

After grabbing a few shots, we walked up the steps and grabbed another spot with more light and both agreed this is where we get our final shots and head out!
