Movie Review: One of Them Days.

This past week, I made some time to finally see, “One of Them Days.”

It’s a new movie from Issa Rae starring SZA & Keke Palmer.

I’m a fan of all 3 of those women, so I had to see it!

Immediately when I began the movie, my mind reverted back to the early 2000’s. It was just a feeling of nostalgia, like this movie isn’t to be taken too seriously…and the mountain of troubles began literally as the movie started. No time wasted.

While I enjoyed the movie and had some laugh out loud moments, I found myself getting irritated with all the mess SZA’s character was getting into. Poor Keke (her character) couldn’t catch a break! While she (SZA’s character) did manage to solve the problems she created, and ended up collecting the money that was needed, she got on my nerves!

I don’t care to go into a detailed review, but I wanted to add my 2 cents. There were more pros than cons about this movie and I’d play again, because again, I did have some real laugh out loud moments.

Overall, If I had to rate it out of 10. I’d give a 7.5. I’d recommend it as a movie to put on your WATCHLIST but there’s no need to rush to it, you’ll get to it when you get to it.
